Welfare Rights - Tribunal Representative

Harrow Law Centre is a small but effective and forward-thinking Law Centre which provides specialist legal advice & representation to combat disadvantage, discrimination and exclusion. We also work to influence local and national policy to improve public services for the most vulnerable. We use the law not only to resolve the legal problem for the individual but to also achieve wider change.

We have a vacancy for an experienced welfare rights adviser or solicitor to represent clients at first and upper tribunal. You will join our existing welfare benefits team of three.

• Full time post (35 hours) but part time applications welcome

• Salary £40,000 per annum

• Location: Harrow part office based part home based

We hold Legal Aid contracts in Education, Housing, Immigration/Asylum, Public Law and Welfare Benefits. We have recently secured a legal aid contract in Criminal law and will be establishing a Criminal law unit from October 2022.

We also have a Victims of Crime unit for victims who have English as a second language.
