The postholder will be responsible for exploring ways in which to improve the capacity, performance and inclusiveness of the LASP Project and to promote and facilitate the development of similar projects in other locations. They will also be closely involved in the operation of LASP, providing casework support to the LASP Coordinator and assisting with volunteer recruitment, training and supervision.
LASP is a model for enhancing social welfare law services by recruiting and training law students to undertake selected advice and advocacy casework. The LASP model has had considerable success within welfare benefits appeals casework in Bristol and three other UK cities.
