Trainee Solicitor

• Working hours: 35 hours per week

• Salary: £28,000 pa

• Benefits: Payment of SQE Preparation Course and SQE 1 and 2 exam fees by the Law Centre

Harrow Law Centre provides specialist legal advice & representation to combat disadvantage, discrimination and exclusion. We also work to influence local and national policy to improve public services for the most vulnerable. We use the law not only resolve the legal problem for the individual but to achieve wider change.

We have small premises in a vibrant community setting. The work is varied and challenging and we have a happy working environment. We specialize in social welfare law and hold Legal Aid contracts in Education, Housing, Immigration, Public Law and welfare benefits. We also have a legal aid contract in crime.

We are currently recruiting a law graduate to join us as a trainee solicitor. We will cover the costs of your training and SQE 1 and 2 assessments. Following the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) pathway you will be supported to qualify as a solicitor specialising in social welfare law.
