Trainee Solicitor

Citizens Advice Bradford & Airedale and Bradford Law Centre is a large, busy service based over 3 sites in Bradford and Keighley. We help individuals and communities tackle the problems of everyday life which, if left unaddressed, could lead to homelessness, destitution, detention or deportation. We specialize in social welfare law and hold Legal Aid contracts in Housing and Immigration and provide specialist level advice in Welfare Benefits and Debt.

We are recruiting a Trainee Solicitor. Under the supervision of qualified solicitors, you will be supported to complete the training and development needed to qualify as a solicitor specialising in social welfare law. Following the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) pathway you will undertake self-directed learning and formal training, including an SQE preparation course and SQE1 and SQE2 assessments. The cost of your required training and assessments will be met by us.

• Salary: £23,122p.a.

• Hours: 37 per week

• Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays plus 3 additional days

• Location: Main base Bradford Manor Row Office
