Trainee Solicitor

Salary: c. £28,000 p.a. + generous terms and conditions, including funding of SQE Preparation Course and SQE 1 and 2 examination fees.

We’re recruiting for a new trainee solicitor. Under the supervision of qualified solicitors, you will be supported to complete the training and development needed to qualify as a solicitor specialising in social welfare law. Following the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) pathway you will undertake self-directed learning and formal training, including an SQE preparation course and SQE1 and SQE2 assessments. The cost of your required training and assessments will be met by us.

You will also work with trainees across London, and the Law Centres Network, to inform how, together, we can improve career progression pathways and attract new people into social welfare law, especially people from historically excluded groups.

We particularly welcome applications from people who live in Tower Hamlets or have personal experience of the problems we support our clients to address.
