Supervising Solicitor (Public Law / Claims Against Public Authorities)

Are you passionate about using the law for change? Interested in working with grassroots groups to defend and expand the rights of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees? Whether you are an experienced solicitor or a young lawyer ready to step up, we want to hear from you!

Racial justice and migrants’ rights have been at the forefront of PILC’s work since its inception winning a number of significant cases against the Secretary of State for the Home Department, the Education Department as well as Local Authorities. We have always worked closely with frontline organisations across the immigration advice sector and grassroots groups acting in solidarity with migrants.

Since becoming independent in 2019, PILC has gone from strength to strength by carefully expanding our strategic priorities. Our litigation team is currently made of 10 colleagues, including 5 solicitors. We are now recruiting for a role to take over an existing caseload to provide cover for maternity leave but the post-holder will also have an opportunity to develop their own.
