Solicitor

North Yorkshire Citizens Advice and Law Centre has recently established a Lexcel-accredited Legal Services Department. We are looking for a fully qualified solicitor, with a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience, able to practise in at least one of the following areas; housing, immigration, family law, employment or discrimination.

If you would like to make a real difference and help us extend access to justice in our complex large geographical area, that covers beautiful rural areas and also areas of real deprivation and isolation, we would like to hear from you.

You will have experience of managing caseworkers or supporting volunteers and will work well as a team player but not be afraid to lead when necessary. We have a reputation for developing careers and we will look to enhance your skills and prospects, putting the necessary resources in place so you can continue to build your legal career.

This role can be based at any one of our offices in North Yorkshire (Northallerton, Richmond, Malton, Scarborough, Selby, Harrogate, Whitby and Skipton) or partly from home.

Part time or full time hours are available (24-37 per week).
