Solicitor - Complaints against the Police and Public Bodies

Harrow Law Centre is a forward thinking Law Centre that currently provides legal advice in crime, education, housing, immigration, public law and welfare benefits. We also have a housing campaigns project.

We find that many of the areas of law we cover are interlinked and we have identified a need to expand our work into complaints against the police and other public bodies. We are seeking a solicitor to work full-time or part time. The work may involve civil claims against the police as well as judicial reviews. You would work along side our criminal and public law solicitors.

The work will involve working under Legal Aid Agency (LAA) public funding requirements and the successful candidate must demonstrate compliance with the current supervisor requirements for the legal aid CAPA contract.
