Social Welfare Caseworker (over 65s)

We are looking for an experienced Social Welfare Caseworker to give welfare benefit advice and representation to people in the over 65 age group in Liverpool & Knowsley facing hardship.

The post will mainly involve home visits to clients. The caseworker will need to be able to carry out benefit checks, assist in completing DWP benefit application forms, deal with mandatory reconsideration and appeals when necessary.

The role is is based in our Liverpool office at Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre, in Toxteth.
