Finance Officer

Ealing Law Centre is currently looking for an exceptional Finance Officer to support our finance operations. You will be working with an award winning team committed to providing free legal services for the community. As Finance Officer you will be responsible for maintaining our financial systems, producing a quarterly financial report including management accounts for our Trustee Board and statutory financial reporting to the Charity Commission, and Companies House.

You will work closely with the Director/Supervising Solicitor, Treasurer of Ealing Law Centre as well as other staff. The post holder will support functions such as setting up and management of budgets, processing of invoices and transactions, preparing financial reports for funders, providing support during the annual auditing process to ensure all financial and compliance requirements are met and keeping accurate financial records. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Ealing Law Centre as it brings its services to the heart of the community in its new offices at Hanwell Community Library and to develop your skills.

This role is suitable for a candidate with an accounting background, qualification/or qualified by experience, who has an excellent understanding and experience of financial planning is well organised with a high level of attention to detail is able to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial staff has the ability to both organise and prioritise your own workload, and work flexibly and pro-actively. skills and experience at the same time.

• Location: Hanwell Community Library – London Borough of Ealing

• Salary: £30,000 per annum (Pro-rata)

• Hours: 14 Hours (Monday to Friday 9.30-5.30) (Possibility for flexible working)

• Contract length: Permanent
