Employment Law paralegal

Job Description

To work alongside and support the Employment Law supervisor with Employment Law enquiries and cases and provide high quality advice and casework.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide advice services to clients in all aspects of Employment law.

  • Research, discover facts of an enquiry and advise clients

  • Ensure accurate case recording of all enquiries and advice given.

  • Keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation

  • Provide advice as part of our telephone advice service and to follow up enquiries

  • Deal with a diverse client group with understanding and empathy at all times

  • Undertake such training as is necessary to maintain standards and knowledge required

  • Contribute to the Centre`s services by taking part in outreach work if requested

  • Attend to basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, dealing with phone and online enquiries

  • Be self-servicing and able to use the Centres IT programmes and case recording systems

  • Contribute positively to the work environment by attending meetings as required and assisting in the development of good working practises
