Find your next opportunity at Law Centres Network or with one of our member Law Centres.
Could you help us build a movement for social change?
The Law Centres Network is the membership body for Law Centres. We help our members to better meet the needs of their clients and communities, we support the whole network to learn, act and grow together, and we are the voice of Law Centres.
Currently, justice is in great demand but in short supply. The rights of ordinary people – renters, workers, people with disabilities, black and brown people – are under threat, as is our ability to protest or to hold government to account.
In response, our Law Centres are working hard to embed themselves more deeply in their communities, continually developing and extending their vital services and building resilience to shifting political and funding landscapes.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join us as a Development Team Intern.
You will be a professional with some experience of Law Centres or the charity sector and be willing to learn and develop. You will be able to drive your own work, as well as supporting the LCN team and our member Law Centres. Work can be fast-paced and requires the ability to balance multiple priorities as part of a small team.
The role is diverse and offers a good opportunity to make your mark. Some of your work objectives will be planned and others will emerge over time. You will work with Law Centres, supporting them to identify, share and implement best practice across their service design and delivery. You will also support emerging Law Centres to join the network.
The role is initially for six months full-time with the potential for it to be extended.
You will be joining a small and dedicated team, mostly working from home across England and Wales but meeting regularly in Central London. Our work atmosphere is friendly and informal but diligent.
