Crisis Navigator

As a member of Cambridge House’s Law Centre Team, led by the Head of Service, this role is responsible for:

• Providing high quality advice and assistance to users of the Law Centre facing crises in the fields of Housing, Welfare Benefits and/or other areas of welfare law.

• Contributing to the development of Cambridge House as a multi-purpose voluntary organisation addressing a range of community needs in flexible and imaginative ways.

The successful candidate must:

• Be a qualified as a Solicitor (England & Wales)

• Have at least 3 years’ experience and expert knowledge of specialist welfare benefits casework

• Be able to support complex cases requiring representation at Appeals Court or Tribunals and develop and deliver outreach activities to increase the reach of the service
